After working for the Open Door, Aleth transitioned to a clinical support specialist at Visiting Nurse Services of New York, meeting clients where they were at in the community to provide support and mental health services. It was her time working in New York City that taught her valuable skills in building trust and fast rapport with the most intricate clients. After moving to Florida in 2010, Aleth invested full time into her family, with her husband, taking some time off to learn a very different role. Stepping back into the workforce in 2015,  Aleth started as an Adjunct therapist in a mental health and substance abuse facility. In three months was promoted to a primary therapist, specializing in family therapy, substance abuse and mental health issues. Aleth ran the Family weekend program and was later promoted to a Program Coordinator to help manage clients and staff at the detox, residential, PHP and IOP levels of care. After 5 years Aleth transitioned to another facility and specialized in intense therapy with clients and their families to achieve positive mental health and relapse prevention skills. Ultimately, before starting her own practice, Aleth was the Clinical Director of Operations at the PHP and IOP levels of care with over 100 clients and the entire medical and psychiatric team.

In addition to her professional accomplishments Aleth specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, anxiety management, and coping skills for depression. Aleth loves working with couples for couples therapy, using modalities including but not limited to Emotion Focused Therapy, Rational Life Therapy and has been to Gottman training to incorporate these modalities into practice.
